I rode the same route again today and was a little faster
in MPH and time. I think it more of knowing what to expect more than anything.
Yesterday was the first time I had been on the road in awhile and I was
somewhat rusty when it came to shifting and when. I certainly didn’t get any
stronger from one ride and it may take a while before I improve again.
I was fun again though and though tired I may be I enjoyed
it. I just need to keep it up.
Now, it’s reward time.
P.S. On the way home I arrived at the four-way at GA372 and
Trinity Church rd just before a Dominos (http://www.dominos.com/) delivery guy in a dark gray Honda got
to the intersection. I was headed west and he was headed north, so I was on his
right and he should have waited on me to clear the intersection since I arrived
first and even if we arrived at the same time I had the right of way since I
was on his right. However, just as I started through the intersection he
floored it and took off; he wasn’t going to yield to a cyclist. I guess he was
in a big hurry to deliver that crappy pizza.
