Sunday 6/1/08

Day six in Tallahassee, day six of fourteen. I haven’t been here a week yet and it feels as though I have been here a month. I miss my bed, my dogs and my wife, though not in that order.

Went to breakfast at the Village Inn, tired of the breakfast at the Residence Inn since the only variation is whether or not there is food. The menu is the same every day, day after day after day. I wanted runny eggs and grits, so I went elsewhere to eat.

Off to Hilaman Park again to whack another bucket of balls, large bucket. Then I played nine holes for grins. I did OK I guess (32 over par of 36), but only my second game. I guess I won’t beat Tiger Woods this week. On two holes (7&9) I was only two over and on eight I was only one over. It’s already hot in Tallahassee, the temps have been in the 90s the last few days. Back to the hotel for a shower and a nap. My nap was shortened by some teens across the hall. They keep walking across the hall between two rooms and slamming the door, the door must have slammed 100 times in the last hour. I asked them once to stop as I was typing this.
